Full-Coverage Foundation That’s Good For Your Skin

I have always had normal skin. I’ve never had trouble with dryness or acne, even in my teen years. Because of that, I’ve never given much thought to wearing the wrong foundation. As long as it looked good on my skin, I was fine with it.

I know that a lot of people do struggle with these issues, though. I knew foundation could really impact the condition of your skin, but that was the last thing on my mind when I started breaking out. Suddenly, my chin and lip area were riddled with embarrassing bumps. I was pregnant at the time and even though it was my third kid, I thought it was hormones.

When I had my son a couple months later and was still having problems with my skin, I started thinking that it may be the new foundation I was using. I did have a few bumps here and there during pregnancy, so I decided to go with a more full-coverage foundation on my last refill. The one I chose was a “drug store” brand, but came highly recommended and it looked beautiful on my skin.

Thinking back, the break outs had gotten much worse shortly after that. I decided to switch back to my old foundation and see what happened. It took a couple weeks, but my skin cleared up, dramatically. Like I said, I never had problems with acne outside being pregnant, so this was proof.

Even though I had never cared before, the change in my skin made me curious. Are there full-coverage foundations that you can wear without breakouts?

I though if this foundation made me breakout, how would it have effected someone with oily or dry skin. What can I do to make sure I’m using the right products on my skin everyday? So, I did a little searching through my favorite brands and then read the reviews.

The products below boast long lasting medium to full coverage without damage to your skin. According to reviews from their brand websites, Amazon, and Makeup Alley these are the products that actually live up to their claims. No matter your skin type there is a product here that is made for it. I personally have used several of these and loved them. The others, I’ve heard from several trusted sources, are the real deal. So here they  are!
